Are you on the hunt for GOLD points? Do you like to play teams against players at your level? Want to go to Minneapolis next summer to represent District 19 in the Grand National Teams? Come play in the GNT District Finals. If you are looking for gold points, playing in the GNT District 19 finals can be a very rewarding event. How much gold you can win depends upon how many teams participate in your flight. Last year, Flight C paid out 10 gold to the winners (Team Li); coming in second paid 7.5 gold (Team Carlson). In the B flight, the winners (Team Reams) won 33.5 gold and the second-place team (Team Ying) won 23.45 gold. District 19 GNT Finals will be held in two locations this spring. The Leavenworth Regional will host the A Flight (0-6000) and Flight C (NLM under 750) on April 18-19, while the Championship Flight and Flight B (0-3000) will be held at the Burnaby Sectional on May 16-17.The winning team in each flight at the District Finals is invited to participate in the GNT finals of the GNT at the Summer NABC in Minneapolis, starting July 8. Note that you don’t have to commit to go to the finals in Minneapolis in order to play in the District Finals, and pre-qualification is NOT required to play in the finals. Full event details, including the conditions of contest, are available on our website: https://d19.org/gnts/ |

We'd love to hear your Goodwill Committee Candidate suggestions! District 19 celebrates the principles of Goodwill, such as active ethics, table manners, good sportsmanship, and full disclosure. Annually in April, each District 19 board member may make two appointments to the District Goodwill Committee. Players in this honored Committee represent the best of Goodwill within our area. As a board, we would like to recognize every worthy player in the District, but unfortunately, we can’t know everyone. So, if you know of a player that deserves this recognition, please let a board member know. |
